(SNO) — Members of one Eugene family are rejoicing after their relative, 87-year-old Bocage resident Ignatius Eugene, who had been missing since Sunday, was found Tuesday night — alive.
The senior citizen, also known as Mr. Son, went missing in the wee hours of Sunday, February 10.
Relatives told our newsroom that he was discovered by a young man around 8 p.m. in the bushes of Guesneau, which is close to Forestiere/Ti Rocher.
“All praises and thanks to the Almighty Father. We broke down today after the police (SSU) came out in large numbers to help us but to no avail. Until tonight a young man came running he had found him in the bushes cold and wet but responsive. Thank you all for your prayers,” one of the relatives wrote on Facebook.
Eugene, who suffers from dementia, is currently at the hospital.
Relatives have expressed gratitude to everyone who helped them in finding Mr. Son.
