(SNO) — Police have confirmed that a suspected drowning occurred at Anse Baison in Vieux Fort on Sunday, April 14.
The deceased been identified by police as 18-year-old Augustina Lionel.
According to law enforcement and civilian reports, Lionel was among a group of persons who allegedly fell off a kayak.
Officials received the report of the suspected drowning shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday
The body, which was clad in a “black bra and a black bottom”, has been recovered, police said.
