The Costa Favolosa has been anchored in the port of Fort de France for two days
(SNO) – Martinique on Saturday morning reported two more positive cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on a cruise ship in the bay of Fort de France.
The Costa Favolosa has been anchored in the bay and kept offshore for the past two days awaiting clearance from French authorities to dock.
The two bring to nine the number of positive cases reported by Martinique.
The positive cases were announced by the Agence Régionale de Santé (ARS) on Saturday.
The patients will leave the ship on Saturday morning as per protocols established by the French government, La 1ère reported.
The other passengers will be tested by the ARS.
