(SNO) – Police have identified the victim in the fatal accident in Vieux Fort on Sunday, July 8, 2018 as 18-year-old Rena Eugene.
Reports are that around 8 a.m., a motor car (PG7090) driven by the teen’s father – Rendal Eugene – ran off the road and overturned in the vicinity of the George Odlum Stadium/St. Jude Hospital — the first corner after the stadium, on the way to the quarry.
It is alleged that the father and daughter were heading home to Pierrot, Vieux Fort when the accident occurred.
The teen died on the spot after she was ejected from the vehicle.

Scene of the accident
A video obtained by our newsroom shows the father – a popular Twinz of Twinz DJ – crying and walking all over the road, shouting “rena, rena……..my child gasa, my child gasa” while his daughter’s body lay close by in a pool of blood.
He did not appear to be seriously injured in the video.
