(SNO) – The next IFBB International championship will be the main event for all the countries affiliated to the Central America & Caribbean Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (CACBBFF).
And one of the most traditional championships in the history of the sport, the 45th edition of the Central American & Caribbean Championships, will be held July 27 to 29, in Mexico City, at the magnificent “Teatro Ferrocarrilero”.
This weekend, Saint Lucia and the Saint Lucia Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Association will be represented by four athletes.
St. George Prospere will compete in men’s welter weight bodybuilding, Joneil Pelage – junior bodybuilding, Worrell Eristhee – men’s physique and the lone female athlete, Velda John – figure/body fitness.
The team is being headed by national coach Julian Felix, who has represented Saint Lucia in the past at the CAC Championships, and accompanied by Monica Dudley serving as judge, along with the president of the local federation, Jacqueline Trim.
In 2016, Saint Lucia’s Marina Jn Pierre became the island’s most recent regional bodybuilding champion, winning the CAC women’s title.
