A woman has died in a suspected drowning at Micoud, police officials have confirmed.
The victim has been identified as Siona John,38, of New Extension, Micoud, whose body was discovered floating at sea around 14:00 p.m. near Anse Captain Beach.
In a press statement issued by the Police Public Relations Department, it said the woman’s body was transported to the St. Jude Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
Investigations are continuing into this matter.
