A man met his untimely death after falling from a mango tree in Anse La Raye on Tuesday afternoon.
Leo Joseph, 52, of Anse La Raye was reportedly attempting to climb a large mango tree, when he fell to the ground, injuring himself in the process.
An ambulance responded to the scene at 1:30 p.m. where emergency personnel met Joseph unresponsive. The team attempted to resuscitate him, but his vital signs did not return.
He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
An autopsy is expected to be carried out to determine the cause of death.
