(SNO) – Saint Lucia’s Lyla Lionel was on the scoresheet again as the Essex County College Lady Wolverines maintained their perfect season with another win.
It was their sixth on the trot, and the first time they had triumphed by fewer than three goals, as they beat Burlington College 1-0 at Rowan College at Burlington County.
Lionel, who is originally from Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia, was joined on the pitch by national teammates Samara Edward, Shaunasha Prevost and Chreselda Cox.
With just two games remaining, both away games in the next week, Saint Lucia’s women football exports are shining brightly.
